Mind Stretcher Learning Centre was established in 2003 to provide enrichment programmes for pre-primary and primary school students.
Since then, we have earned a very good name for ourselves as an education chain with high standards of teaching and learning materials.

Born in 2003 out of a humble shelter, Amidst a passionate teacher's rant and laughter, Mind Stretcher has come a considerably long way, To hold its own in the education fray.
Mind Stretcher is now 17-branch strong, And will very soon strike its eightteenth "gong".... Catering to all students under 12 is our forte, Many enthuse about our education "cafe"...

It is our aim to provide quality education services to students who enrol with us.
Through our 2-tier (High Achievers & Achievers) primary enrichment programmes & our P3 GEP Preparatory Lab, we aim to stretch our students' potential and equip them with an unflinching desire for life-long education, whatever their learning abilities may be.


A former MOE Secondary Asean Scholar (Raffles Institution), Pre-U Asean Scholar (Raffles Junior College) and Kuok Foundation University Scholar, Alvin is the founder of Mind Stretcher and the Curriculum Writer for Mind Stretching English. A versatile individual who is equally at home with Humanities subjects as well as in both Science & Mathematics, he teaches selective P6 English classes at the Bishan, Punggol, Serangoon North, Clementi & 112 Katong centres.

A double-degree holder from the National University of Singapore and the University of London, Kristie is both a trained accountant and a lawyer. She also has a certificate in Early Childhood Education. Since leaving the legal profession 2000, she has immersed herself full-time in the captivating waters of Mind Stretcher. Kristie is in charge of the Mind Stretching Mathematics and Science curricula. Her son, who is a three-time winner of the RI Headmaster's Honour Roll (for all-round academic & CCA excellence), current MOE Scholar, Singapore Police Force Book Prize Winner, MAS JC Scholar and A* Pre-U Scholar, was formerly from the Gifted Education Programme at Nanyang Primary School & RI.

A scholar (MOE Secondary Asean Scholar , PSC Pre-u Asean Scholar & NUS Merit Scholar) from secondary school all the way to university, Adrian was working with US financial giant Morgan Stanley, before joining Mind Stretcher full time as a Curriculum Writer and Teacher. A past winner of numerous academic awards in his younger days and a finalist in Mediacorp's Singapore's Brainiest Scholar competition, Adrian is having the time of his life here stretching the students' minds and being stretched in turn!
